Weather Status: Delta, issued at 0930 hours.
Plane: Q343, Dornier 328 Jet

Pilot's Notes: We've been in the air for about 30 minutes now. Scattered clouds and blue skies. We should be there in approximately 8 hours. I have advised passengers that they can now take out their electronic devices as long as they are in airplane mode. After Rio, we'll be refueling and flying back to Miami at approximately 2130 if no delays occur. <END>
Flight Log #2239-41-79
Weather Status: Echo, issued at 1005 hours
Plane: Q343, Dornier 328 Jet
Altitude: approx. 29,000 feet
Pilot's Notes: In all of my 28 years as a pilot I have never seen a change in the weather happen so quickly! At 1000 hours, skies were as clear as my last log at 0930 hours. Then, George (NPC) and I noticed that dark clouds loomed over us very fast. It was as if I snapped my fingers and all of these clouds appeared! There are a few lightning strikes here and there, and I do not know of any nearby airports that we can contact for a safe landing.
